Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations at a busy quick service restaurant in Killeen, Texas. This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who understands both the people side and the business side of restaurant operations. The General Manager is accountable for financial performance, operational execution, team leadership, and delivering a consistently positive guest experience.
You will manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff development, operational standards, and overall unit performance, while maintaining brand integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Compliance:
- Maintain strict adherence to company standards, food safety procedures, and local health regulations.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the restaurant at all times.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures and daily operational workflows.
Financial Performance:
- Manage and interpret the restaurant’s profit and loss (P&L) statement.
- Control food and labor costs while meeting operational targets.
- Develop and execute staffing schedules that balance service levels and labor efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members and supervisors.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven workplace culture.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
Guest Experience:
- Address guest concerns professionally and promptly.
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Ensure team members deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service.
Qualifications:
- 2–3+ years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a quick service restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financials, including labor and food cost controls.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- ServSafe Manager Certification required (or ability to obtain).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $45,000 – $52,000 annually.
