Restaurant Assistant Manager
Location: Waco, Texas
Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 annually (plus bonus potential)
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a high-volume restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, this leader will help ensure efficient operations, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and a consistent, welcoming guest experience.
The position calls for a professional who can balance operational discipline with strong people leadership—someone comfortable managing fast-paced service while coaching and motivating a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house activities to ensure smooth service execution.
- Monitor food preparation and enforce sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment; coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with alcohol service regulations and applicable local requirements.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Train, coach, and mentor staff to support performance and career growth.
- Assist with scheduling and evaluate team productivity and attendance.
- Address performance concerns through coaching and corrective action when needed.
- Support employee lifecycle processes in accordance with company policies.
Guest Experience:
- Promote exceptional service standards across every stage of the dining experience.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues to build loyalty and repeat business.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior restaurant experience required; supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete company training upon hire.
