Location: Waco, Texas
Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 annually (plus bonus potential)

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a high-volume restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, this leader will help ensure efficient operations, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and a consistent, welcoming guest experience.

The position calls for a professional who can balance operational discipline with strong people leadership—someone comfortable managing fast-paced service while coaching and motivating a team.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house activities to ensure smooth service execution.
  • Monitor food preparation and enforce sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment; coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain compliance with alcohol service regulations and applicable local requirements.
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Train, coach, and mentor staff to support performance and career growth.
  • Assist with scheduling and evaluate team productivity and attendance.
  • Address performance concerns through coaching and corrective action when needed.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes in accordance with company policies.
Guest Experience:
  • Promote exceptional service standards across every stage of the dining experience.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues to build loyalty and repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • Leadership: Ability to guide and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Operational Knowledge: Understanding of restaurant procedures, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Organization: Excellent time management and attention to detail.
    Technology: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and POS/restaurant management systems.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior restaurant experience required; supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete company training upon hire.
