Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Dual Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the revenue and brand growth efforts for a luxury hotel property in the Caribbean. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, requiring a professional who can balance innovative marketing strategies with effective sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive occupancy, revenue, and market share while ensuring the property’s reputation as a premier destination for luxury travelers.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
  • Design and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies that align with the property’s revenue and growth objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive advantages within the Caribbean’s luxury hospitality sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance brand visibility and guest engagement through creative and impactful campaigns.
Sales & Revenue Management:
  • Set and achieve ambitious revenue goals for rooms, events, and ancillary services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including travel agents, corporate clients, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead group and corporate sales efforts, with a focus on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) opportunities tailored to the Caribbean market.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term, high-value partnerships.
Marketing Leadership:
  • Oversee the development and execution of digital and traditional marketing initiatives, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message.
  • Partner with operational teams to align marketing efforts with the guest experience, creating memorable stays for luxury travelers.
  • Manage content creation and campaigns targeting international audiences, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and leisure travelers.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs, ensuring optimal use of resources and measurable results.
Team Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Provide professional development opportunities to align team capabilities with the property’s strategic goals.
  • Promote collaboration between sales, marketing, and operations teams to streamline efforts and enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing within the luxury hospitality industry, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and increasing market share in competitive environments.
  • Expertise in revenue management strategies, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of the Caribbean tourism market, with established industry connections being a significant advantage.
